When I get bad rep it's gone after a while. Do the mods get rid of anon neg rep now?

Not always. I have had most neg. rep disappear - but then it looked like random crabbiness on the anonymous person's part, not really earned. One neg. rep. I thought would vanish never did - bad me, I must have really deserved it! ;)

But I do think the Powers that Bee are looking out for unwarranted neg. rep and removing them.

Same here. I have had some vanish, but I have had more stay. All but one that stayed were richly deserved!!! I can be snotty sometimes. :glare:

:lol: Same here! :lol: I use to think neg rep was a bad thing but to be honest, I'm glad I got the bad rep because it was so deserved it is not even funny and it made me realize how snotty I can be!

None of mine has ever vanished, but only one did I consider completely undeserved. I'm not sure why someone would be reading a thread about rep and then get irritated that someone in that thread was talking about it, but whatever. It clearly hasn't deterred me. :D

How can you know if bad rep has gone or not? Don't you only see the last five reps in your User Control Panel? So how can you know anything other than those last five? Just curious!

I am very addicted to rep.:blushing: I keep track of it in a excel spread sheet.:blushing: I know I have it very bad. :tongue_smilie:

I just like to give rep as a thank you and I don't want to miss anyone. So that is why I keep track.

I think a lot of times, if it's going to get removed, it will be soon enough that you'll notice it before it's had time to slide off the page. Another way someone might know even if it had already slid below the top five would be if they kept track of their total points, and those points increased without any new positive rep.
