I just posted my introduction in the general forum, but wanted to just introduce myself in here too. I have 3 boys, Zach-7, Aiden-6 and Logan-3.

My Logan was born with Down Syndrome and a cleft palate. We are a few years from homeschooling him, but would love to start getting some imput about curriculum. Looking forward to getting to know you all.

Hi,

I know nothing about homeschooling a Down's Syndrome child but I do want to welcome you. I had a cleft palate that was repaired before I was two. Since it was only a cleft palate, I have no outwardly visible sign. Once again, welcome and I am sure someone else here will be able to help you with resources.

Welcome. I don't have any children with DS but have worked with many kids with DS. My 20ds and 12dd both function at levels similar to many children with DS as well.

Hi Emily,

We have eight children ages 23 to 2. Our 5yo, Isaac, has DS. I'm up way too late and need to get to bed but I'll post more later.
