View Full Version : Help; question about Horizon math

I am purchasing Horizon Math 4 for my daughter. A friend offered to let me use her teacher's manual, but it looks like it's a different version than the workbooks I looked at online. The new workbooks are gold with a shark on the front, and the "old" teacher's manual is green (I think) with an elephant. Have they updated it so that they are not compatible, or is it just a new look? It would save me some money to avoid purchasing the teacher's manual, but I don't want to get started and find out they're not compatible. I'd love to order the books today (want to get started on math next week!), so I hope someone knows the answer to this!
Thanks!

Their customer service reps should be able to tell you if their revisions were significant enough to matter. I've had similar situations with Abeka and BJU and called both publishers to find out before I purchased. They were more than willing to answer my questions.

I purchased my TMs starting in 95. I have been purchasing new workbooks every yr since then. Not a problem (there may be 2 or 3 answers that don't match/yr)

I just got the 4th grade from Liz on this list ~ thanks! Anyway so I have the '99 printing green TM with a jaguar and a gold '05 student with a shark. Everything on the inside of the TM goes right along with the student book fine ~ just the same. And my son thinks the shark book is cool!
HTH!
