Have you soaked it?
Have you tried an enzyme soap on it?

There may be other enzymes that are just as effective, but I don' know. I have tried without success to buy just plain papain powder at the co-op since I am not using the meat tenderizer for anything other than blood stain removal. (We seem to have our share!)

In the past I have used peroxide on blood stains and it has worked pretty well. Also Shout Advanced is supposed to be good at removing set in stains, but I have never tried it on a blood stain.

It's the only stain remover that will get out blood stains around here (course, I haven't tried the more natural remedies yet!). You can buy it from a distributor or directly on the website at www.quixtar.com. It's great stuff. I don't sell Amway anymore, but still buy their laundry care products!

Z'out is a spray stain remover that has always worked for me on blood stains. It's now sold in a spray bottle in combination with OxyClean, which also has worked well for me. I think I got my current spray bottle at Target, but Walmart probably has it too.

OxyClean and hot water. Works like a dream.

My friend uses this and she says it works wonders. You get it in the laundry aisle and it comes in a small bottle. They have them for specific stains. There is one for milk, blood, etc.
