Is there a book or website

you would suggest for someone who has neglected teaching their students how to use a calculator?

And do we absolutely NEED more than a scientific one (we have and dd has used).

DS is in Algebra. DD is going to do Pre-Calc then Calc I at the local college this year.

First of all, if we are talking about TI-XXX graphing calculators the first thing you need to do is go to the TI website and down load the REAL users guide for these things....much different than the scrawny little getting started guides that come in the clam shell cases with the calculators

In the event the link doesn't work for you, google the type of calculator and users manual or guidebook. Then choose the education.ti.com link.

Another possibility ...

Our local community college has a math lab that is free for students and members of the community. They had several videos that covered use of a graphing calculator. Something you might look into ....
