how do I cross-post something?

I have been on these boards for awhile, but I have never known how to do this. For example, if I want the exact same post to go both on the K-8 and High School boards, how do I do this without retyping the whole thing? I would have liked to have done this with my rant about my inability to use our new microscope, but I didn't know how??!! Just another example of my ineptness!

Just type it once for one board, then copy it and paste it into a post window for the second board. Cross posts aren't used much though, so I'd do it sparingly: many people hit 'new posts' and see everything new, rather than hunting through the different boards.

Thanks, Laura, for your help. I would use it sparingly/judiciously, but I figured there would be folks on both the K-8 and high school boards who could work a microscope properly.
