Big Mac lovers---$ saving tip

Big Macs sell for $2.99 at our local McDonalds. Double cheeseburgers are $1.

Order a double cheeseburger for $1 and ask them for onions, pickles, mac sauce and lettuce. PRESTO---you have a smaller Big Mac minus the middle bun for $1.

Most places have not charged me any extra for this but one McDonalds did charge me 30 cents for the mac sauce. Still at $1.30 I enjoyed my "big mac" and it was less than 1/2 the price of a reg. big mac---and a bit fewer calories as well.

I love my big macs, but I always remove the middle bun anyway otherwise it gets all slip slidey like on me LOL

I'll have to remember this for next time. My dd used to love big macs when she was 3 because that's Daddy's "usual" at McD's, but I never wanted to order a huge one for her so I used to ask for a regular cheeseburger with mac sauce, lettuce and pickles (she doesn't like onions).
