Amos Fortune, Free Man OR Justin Morgan Had a Horse

I am trying to decide on one of these two books for our TOG assignment. It would be for my 13yo Dialectic stage dd.

My older son LOVED Amos Fortune at about that age. Justin Morgan was made into a great Disney movie, too......

Neither is a long book, you could probably do both. I vote for Amos Fortune to read and Justin Morgan on tape/cd for the library. Justin Morgan is a wonderful, wonderful story that we listened to over & over. But Amos Fortune is equally worthy...

I couldnt choose! We read both. *Ü* But Amos was what we used in our online class. Both are great reads.:)
