are coming up to him and mentioning my name and WTM forums. I think that is so cool, I wish I was with him to meet all the WTM'ers that he is meeting. I have never met anyone from here IRL and dh has. Oh well, I do have to stay home with dc and our 7 cats. I could only talk to him for a second and heck I forgot to ask him what Atlanta is like

I was one of them- Saturday morning, first thing, I spoke to your dh. He was very friendly! It was so crowded there since Susan and Jesse were there to speak. They were great, by the way. I even got to ask Susan my burning questions after her talk re: logic stage teaching. She was answering many questions and was very gracious to each and every person there. Atlanta is a great city, but the convention was really outside the city- actually about four miles from my house.
I hope your husband got a lot of leads for his program. My kids are still a smidge too young for it- oldest is 13. It looks good!
Take care,

What was your burning Question, MJF?
I think it's cool, OP, that you and your hubby obviously support each other in this homeschooling venture--how cool is it for a hubby (or "the spouse who is not the primary homeschooler,") to go to the convention!! Of course, I'm assuming you have more of the actual schooling, but I could be wrong!

He is so nice!
We really liked his program. We ended up buying it and are looking forward to using it.
I didn't get a chance to meet SWB. Everytime I went by she was busy! That was a bummer.

thanks for the kind words. Yes, I do most of the teaching of our dc, however, dh is available to help with math (his strong area) which is good since dd will be doing Alg. 2 this coming year.

Anna, I posted before I saw your message. Dh wrote an accounting course for homeschooled high schoolers which is all on cds. You can see samples at his website www.professorinabox.com

I'm keeping it in mind when my kids are ready.
God Bless,
