Can someone please share with me how they schedule Rosetta Stone each week? How much time do you schedule for it each day? What does a typical week look like? Do you have your kiddos complete one activity (Reading, Reading/Listening, Writing, Speaking) each day of the week? How successful were they with the speaking sessions? I would greatly appreciate any information you could share with me. We are starting the Latin America Spanish this fall and I'm having a hard time scheduling this. Thanks so much!

If so, then scheduling is pretty easy using the Student Management System. I set our ds up on the accelerated track because the regular one was too repetitive for him. Then I assigned RS work 4 times, sometimes 5. Each lesson of a unit is broken into "a" and "b" sections this way. So a weeks work might look like this
Monday: Read study guide and do Lesson 4-1a
Tuesday: Lesson 4-1 b and do the workbook assignment
Weds: pronunciation practice
Thurs: Read study guide and do Lesson 4-2a
Friday: Lesson 4-2b and study guide
and so on. Then I would often use the paper quizzes as a review and I did use the hard copy paper tests that cover half of a unit as well. Each day's work took him about 30 to 40 minutes....it takes longer in the second half of the course from units 5 through 8. The earliest lessons, if I remember correctly might only take 20 to 30 minutes.
I found the student management system to be the way to go for us, because that way I didn't have to really do the scheduling. The folks at Rosetta stone can help you set it up if you have trouble. They were very helpful to me when I was having problems with something.
