just use water...NO SOAP....scrub it with a scrubber or with the handy plastic scraper...if you have one. Worst case you can use some baking soda on it...but NO SOAP....really, soap is bad....LOL

Yup. Hot, hot water. As hot as you can get it. You don't want to remove the oils left from your cooking. They will seal and season it, giving it an almost non-stick, blackened finish. Blackened is good. :)

No soap unless it is thoroughly seasoned (almost black). At that point, a little soap won't hurt. There are a few things that I cook on my stoneware that are super sticky, and sometimes require a bit of soap to remove completely. But, I never scrub it clean back to the cream color.
