I'm confused, I was placing my order for Singapore Math from their site and they only sell the Standards Edition for KG which has been condensed into 2 books (from the previous 4) however Rainbow Resources only sells the 4 book series? Which one to get? Rainbow is actually cheaper with the whole order (I'm also buying US Edit 2A-2B for my older ds)??

I think the 2 book series is the US edition.

At least that's the way it works with the elementary grades.

The only difference, I think, is with metric measurement. I'd go with the cheapest.

I got the 4 books from Rainbow and they are the US version. The 2 book set is the same thing, just in 2 books instead of 4.

Singapore Math switched over to only producing the standards edition Earlybird Math set (the kindergarten books) because it and the US edition were so similar. The Standards edition comes in 2 books, while the US edition was split into 4 books. The 4 book (US edition set) is the older version. RR must have some older copies still and are selling those. While I have not seen the US edition, I'm told there aren't any significant changes between it and the standards edition.

Bottom line, just go for the cheaper set.
