Was it worth the money? I have a very wiggly 5yo who just can't sit still.

I used this with dd when she was early 4-she was (and is) bright to the point of gifted, and could put her letter sounds together to make phonetically regular words at the time we started Happy Phonics. She was not wiggly, and was definitely ready to read and asking for it, but didn't want to put the "work" into reading by using 100 EZ Lessons or things like that. HP was a perfect fit, wonderful even for younger children that are ready to read. I used the whole program with her and she loved it because it was playing games with mom. She came out of Happy Phonics and jumped right into reading "The Beginner's Bible" including the difficult to pronounce names. It was fun and effective and painless. I have recommended this to many people. I am now using it with ds4 with excellent results. The only part that is kind of a pain is cutting out the pieces for the games, but I did it one or two games at a time as I needed them, not all at once. I followed the steps listed in the directions, sometimes stopping to camp out extra time on some steps if she needed it. And I did do some review of old concepts each day too, just to keep them fresh. Great program! I can answer more questions if you have them!
