etsy (http://www.etsy.com/)?

I don't know much about it, but it sounds like it might fit the bill.

I use a xanga blog for my horses for sale. It works well enough for that, maybe it would work for your dd.

I've used freewebs.com for years.

I have used freewebs for years too. They will require an ad line for Freewebs but they have very small, unintrusive ones you can add to the bottom of the page. They also have easy to use page builders if you don't want to do your own html coding.
