Christian Light Education Language Arts Question

I am considering CLE for my 5th grader. Does this have enough writing or do you supplement? How does this compare to other grammar programs? Do they do diagramming?

Hi,
I have not used this yet but just placed my order. I did get the diagnostic tests and sample pack last week. To answer your question about diagramming is yes. I saw that they do quite a bit of diagramming in the 500 level.

As far as writing I don't know...yet. :001_smile:

There's some (but not a lot), but it's expected that you'll use some of the writing assignments suggest in their reading program (only in the TE's) and come up with your own assignments as well. They have a book called "On Teaching Writing" that is very good, but it is classroom oriented and just gives general ideas.
