I'm trying to do an avatar but

it won't save my changes? I put in my picture and click save and nothing happens. Help?

That must be it. So, how do I make it smaller?

I thought I had the smaller thing down, but then had a mess up. To make it smaller, put a picture somewhere like Photobucket, and they have a resizing tool. Instead of "save changes" it says "replace original". Even then sometimes you need to give it some time to get settled or something. Fix it, then give it about five minutes, hit refresh and see what you have.
