Yep, another history question from me today! :D Does anyone know how the history recommendations will be changing in the new LCC?

I know that it's going to be a single stream for elementary and middle school, and then high school will be more or less a four-year cycle.

Did Drew make it over here? Obviously he could tell you. He was Plaid Dad on the other board but I haven't seen him since the switch.

Here I am! I was just able to get my registration set up a few minutes ago.
I can't give you all the details, but Mama Lynx is right: for primary and grammar (K-8) there will be a single chronological stream, followed by a Great Books component for grades 9-12.
The publisher has told me that the revised edition should be out in plenty of time for people to plan for the fall, so never fear!

Not available for pre-order on Amazon yet :(
Planning for fall begins earlier than your publisher thinks

I understand. As far as I know, they are shooting for late spring. Sorry it can't be sooner!

I'm looking forward to the revised LCC & your book on memory work. I'll try to wait patiently, but thanks for the bit of info. :)
