We are using and like JAG, but my dd really needs additional practice. It just takes her longer to get things than the book schedules. About double the practice would be perfect.

Why not just give her a year or two and try again? Well because writing is one of her favorite things, and I believe she really needs more of a grammar foundation to do CW Homer. Short answer: I don't want to hold her back from doing Homer because of a grammar deficiency. We are both committed to moving ahead.

From the samples it looks like Easy Grammar works on one concept at a time, so I was looking to use it as a supplement, BUT being rather grammar deficient I am concerned they approach things differently. I don't need this poor girl to be more confused. :001_huh:

Has any one used both, and you can tell me how they might work together? Does anyone have any other suggestions for additional practice that focuses on one area at a time?
