Digital TV broadcast

I keep seeing commercials about TV stations all going digital. Will this affect me in any way? Our TV sets are very old (10+ years), will we need new ones?

You'll need a new tv, cable or sat tv or you can purchase an adapter which I think runs around $80 for each tv. The fed government will be giving out $40 coupons in order to purchase the adapters.

If you have cable or satellite, this won't affect you. If pick up TV through an antenna, then yes, you will need a new TV.
