I picked this up about 1.5 years ago at Barnes and Noble...but haven't yet implemented it. I'm curious to know if others have used this and how...care to share?
Do you use it for exposure only? Do your kids write poems using the various rhythms?

We read one author or 2 page spread, discussed it briefly, then listened to the poem or poems. My goal was for poetry to be enjoyable, and my dd liked most of the selections.

From what age would you say this is suitable for?

Stephanie, I would say 3rd or 4th through 6th grade, BUT I've never listened to the CD, just paged through the types of poetry introduced. There is everything from nursery rhymes to free verse and poets from Homer through Maya Angelou. You can view it here at Amazon (http://www.amazon.com/Childs-Introduction-Poetry-Mountains-Battles/dp/1579122825/ref=sr_11_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1216071018&sr=11-1) They suggest ages 9-12. I know SL just added it to their new Core 3 for this coming fall, and that is geared at ages 8-10.
