These people have been making doofy commercials with bad versions of songs for a long time. It was bad enough when they used the Journey song, but truly, Journey was a bit before my time. But now... NOW, they're using Poison's Nothin' But a Good Time (http://youtube.com/watch?v=Av_MTBCXp2g). THAT hits hard. THAT is 1988. I can't wriggle out of this one. That was all the high school dances, all the parties. GAH! I'm old, old, old. (And so are they - that YouTube link is to a recent show.)

I remember my mother lamenting the Minute Maid commercials using the Stevie Wonder(?) song and wondering what was wrong with her. I get it, Mom!

So what Journey song did they use? Faithfully? I can see that working for a car commercial. I can also see Burger King using "Anyway you want it that's the way you need it, anyway you want it..." instead of "Have it your way...":D

Eek! I just got visions of the big plastic head Burger King singing it! That thing is soooo creepy. Whatever happened to the nice, normal Burger King, the one the 7yo me had a crush on so long ago?

Oh, and,:lol:, last night I told dh that I married him because he resembled the old Burger King guy. (He has the same shade of red hair, and he did have mustache when I married him.) Then I told him I wanted him to wear a crown for me. :biggrinjester: Seriously creeped him out. I just love it when I can do that!:smilielol5:
