Hi. My name is Cindy and I live in TN. I know I've been lurking this board since the first edition of the WTM and just wanted to start a thread looking for other lurkers. So please fellow lurkers speak up here.

Our oldest son (ds) is 3, so soon we will actually start homeschooling. Thanks by the way for the Slow and Steady Recommendation and the many great recipes!

XOXO,

Cindy

Hey Cindy - welcome aboard.
Definately not a lurker here! Way too opinionated for that.

Welcome! I'm not a lurker, but don't post often. This is our first year of HSing. What part of TN are you in? Don't forget to post on the Networking Board along with the rest of us in TN:)

I guess I'm what you call a "lurker" although I dislike that title. I am gleaning wisdom from the experienced! :)

I have had the joy of homeschooling my 13yo daughter (today's her birthday!) for three years. My three older children dd24, ds21, and dd19 received public school educations. I was very involved with the PTO and volunteered often. I was dissatisfied with the quality of the education my children were receiving and began looking for an alternative to PS. We tried a private Christian school and then discovered HSing through a neighbor. I wasn't sure I could take on the education of my child, but I felt God had called me, I listened, and He has equipped and sustained me.

Glad you decided to post. I used to be a lurker, moved up to an occasional poster and now I'm posting more often with the new board formats.

Hope to see more of you.
