I get an email from the CPSC whenever there is a recall. There is a recall almost weekly for the cheap jewelry, key chains or other similar 'fake' metal accessories from stores like Dollar General, Dollar Tree and Walmart. They are typically recalls for lead levels. I just wanted to throw this little information out there since I know that before I got on the list I had no idea how many products were recalled every month.
The talk of all the recalls from lead levels has died down in the past few months but the concern is just as real as ever!
If your little ones tend to put things in their mouth, the choking hazard isn't all we need to be concerned about.
