Ds3 is having articulation problems and dh asked me to look at something for him, I'm constantly modeling conversation for him having him repeat what I say and I slow down on sounds he has problems with so I'm not sure we need this.

TIA!

Hi Jessica:

I am currently using this with my 3yo boy. He also wasn't enunciating his words very well. He was having problems with the "th" "r" and "s" sounds among others.

The CD has two parts to it. First, it has the "music" part that has various "exercises" for the mouth. For example, the "tongue slide" where they move their tongue to different parts of their mouth to strengthen the muscles. They also have songs that practice one sound for a while (like a vowel sound) or go from one sound to another (pat, mat, cat etc.)

The second part has worksheets that you print out on your computer. It has games and worksheets that you would use with your child.

I have found that my son has made HUGE improvement within a short amount of time. I used to be the only one who could understand him consistently, and now there are people who don't know him who can understand him.

I would highly recommend it!
