like, 'just visiting', 'Hive Mind Larvae' and so on.

They refer to your status on the board. It looks like "Just Visiting" is for people who have only posted a few times (e.g., all of us). Any others probably indicate board administrators (e.g., board moderators, employees of PHP, SWB, etc.)

No the refer to the number of posts you've got. 1-10 is Just visiting. 11-# is Hive mind larvae and so on.

Admins have "admin" under their name or are just plain Administrator. The words under ours are just for fun.

I read the answer to this somewhere. Just visiting is under 12 posts. Hive Mind Larvae is over 12 posts. And it goes on from there. I can't remember the rest.
