Spin off on the beginning algebra and science early, what about logic?

If you have a child advanced in math, do you start formal logic early too? My ds is going into 4th grade, but is in Singapore 5b now. He loves strategic games and has been doing abstract math for ages. I tried to get him to use manipulatives in first grade, but he told me that he preferred to do the math in his head.

I think he would enjoy logic, but I'm not sure what to use. I'd prefer secular and inexpensive, but I realize that options are limited. I took one formal logic class in college and loved it, but I was much older than he is now.
