My 20 month old has decided that she doesn't want to wear diapers anymore...or pull ups...or panties...or clothes. She just wants to be naked all of the time. If she had to wear something, it would be a swim diaper, which breaks her out.
I let her be naked at first thinking that she might be wanting to potty train. Oh no, she does NOT want to sit on the potty. She wants to urinate in the highchair, and the carpet and my pillow. That just does not feel like an option to me.
Today, she was throwing a naked fit because she did not want to put on a diaper. She was beet red, screaming and trying to hurt us, so I put her in her bed for a time out. Of course she wet it-more laundry.
Tonight, we were trying to put a diaper on her to get her to sleep. She was trying to pinch us, and bite screaming, "no bad" as loudly as she could. When we got the diaper on her, she started trying to rip it off, so we had to hold her down, and force on a pair of leggings over it. It really makes me uncomfortable to have to treat her this way.
Dd 13 has her now, taking a walk. She convinced the baby to quit crying because it would scare the deer, and they wouldn't see any on the road. It seems like I have a reprieve until she wakes up in the morning, and I have to change her diaper again.
Is this something that we just have to go through?
