I'm sad Big Sur is buring up...

We just drove through there a couple weeks ago as part of our California vacation, and now it is burning up. Sigh. I loved driving up there from UCLA when I was a grad. student over 20 years ago, too.

Very sad here, too. The smoke is so bad that we in the Central Valley are struggling through it. We live four hours from Big Sur! In fact, the night our son was in the ER, they couldn't medi-fly him to the hospital an hour and a half away because the visibility was so bad. Amazing.
