View Full Version : When do you seek help for a lisp? . . .

My 3 1/2 dd has a lisp (which is adorable, I might add). She cannot say her "s" sound. It sounds like "th". I wonder if she'll grow out of this. I can see it definitely being an obstacle when we start phonics. Just wondering if others have experience with this.

Thanks for your input,
Blessings,
lisa

My DD is 7 and still has a slight lisp. It was very "Cindy Brady" until she lost her two front teeth. Now it is less so but still there. I am going to wait until her front teeth grow in and see if that corrects it.
