Elementary Greek

I'm really just thinking out loud here.

My ds has been doing Latin for about 5 months now. He has been using Lively Latin and he is on lesson 6 and is doing really well. I have to stop him some days from doing more Latin.

He has been asking if he can start learning Greek. I have looked at Elementary Greek and like the looks of it.

If ds did Greek maybe 2 or 3 days a week, while still working on his Latin, would it be too much for him?

We are doing both Greek and Latin. We do every other day. So week 1 looks like: M-Latin, Tues- Greek, Wed-Latin, Thurs-Greek, Friday-Latin. Week 2: Monday-Greek, Tues-Latin, Wed - Greek, Thurs - Latin, Friday - Greek. Week 3 repeats week 1. And so on.. Sometimes we 2 both subjects in the same day, depending on what is happening in the lessons. So far, it is not too much.

I didn't order a workbook for myself because the teaching is in the text and any work I did was done on paper.

Latin: LCI, LFC A, B, C, Latin: Book One, and last year Latin Alive! Book 1

Greek: Greek Alphabetarion, EG 1, 2, 3 with my dc. I just started working through White's First Greek Book (http://www.textkit.com/learn/ID/105/author_id/39/) and I may have my boys do it too. It's Attic, not Koine.
