Last night, any posts that had been updated since I'd viewed them last were easy to detect because they were bold. If I had read it and it had not been updated since my last read, it was a lighter blue. Easy. Now...threads I've never even opened are light blue.

I know the icon to the left of each post show whether I've opened it or posted in it, but it doesn't tell me if something new has been posted since the last time I opened it. I really, really liked the bold feature.....but now I'm wondering if I imagined the whole thing?

For what it's worth, I participate in a couple of other forums that use this same format. I haven't experienced what you're describing -- threads going light blue for no reason.

I think the bold ones are the posts that have been added since your last visit--the board is too intelligent for us, I think.
