Need some input for my 8th grade dd...
Math: She doesn't feel confident in math and although she did very well on her SAT's, she still stresses over it. She has done TT's the last three years, but really wants a change. She did pre-algebra last year. So I'm trying to decide on what to do. Has anyone had any experience with Systematic Math? I'm thinking of combining it with Life of Fred.
Lit: We did four Progeny Press Lit. guides last year and although we liked them, we'd like to try something new. I can't decide between Lightning Lit 8 or LLATL. What would I need to add to those curriculums to make them complete LA courses. Does anyone do both of them or is that overkill? My daughter likes Vocabu-Lit so we'll also continue with that. I've also been looking at Write! by Curriculum Associates. I saw it in the Rock Solid catalog and it looks interesting. Anyone use that?
