Was this a good overview of American History?

and we really liked it. They were really into American Girl so it was a good time to do it.

It starts out kind of easy as far as the writing assignments and things, but it gets progressively more difficult. I loved the way she taught writing a paragraph with the graphic organizers. It was really good for my dc.

I thought it was a good overview eventhough it didn't include Kaya--I don't know if it does now or not but it didn't at the time. It was a nice intro. to American History. There was also a fair amount of hands-on stuff along with some fun science, although I wouldn't use it for your only science. It's a good starting point. My oldest really got interested in herbal medicine because of learning from the Josephina unit about herbalists. She wound up doing a whole science project on it and winning a science fair with it! She's still interested in it.
