We are a board game family here (just the usual: monopoly, sorry etc) with young kids. I've seen a game called Made for Trade that I've thought about getting for when the kids are older and I wondered what other games has your family used for homeschooling/reinforcement?

Dd LOVES Made for Trade! Another favorite is The Way Things Work (based on the book).
Not exactly a "teaching" game, but Ticket to Ride is currently very popular around here too.

My kids love No Stress Chess. It teaches Chess via decks of cards. The cards have options for different moves. My 10 yo and 8 yo now play regular chess without the cards, although they still haven't learned the game that well. And my 5 yo plays with the cards too.
They love it, and they've learned about how each piece moves.

I want to buy Made for Trade too!
We also use:
The Garden Game (nature, science)
Blockus (logic)
Bird Bingo (science)
Weatehr Bingo (science)
Polarity (science)

I'm looking for geography games too!!

Artifact we bought just for fun, but actually we're learning a lot about the world trade in antiquities, legal and illicit, from it. It's pretty interesting.
I like the game Power Surge for 4-5th grade science review.

Not necessarily learning games, but we really like:
Set
Quiddler
Cathedral
Castle Keep
Rivers, Roads, and Rails for the youngers
The aMAZEing Labyrinth game
And we just bought 10 days in Europe which we love for geography even though it's a little over their heads yet. There's also 10 days in Asia, Africa, and the USA.

This has become the summer of Parcheesi for my DC -- and now both my 6 and 4 yo know most of their math facts up to 6+6, no coercion involved. :)

My 7 yr old loves the Egyptians game from Mindware - it's a lot of fun and very educational!
Also big hits (math-based) - Sleeping Queens and Zeus on the Loose.

My kids love the "Allowance" game. We play many of the other games listed as well, but this seems to be my ds6 favorite. That could be because he always wins at this game.

An additional vote (hmm, math pun!) for Equate. This is a game that will really make you think!
Others we like include Quiddler (a word game) and SET (for logical thinking).
