I'm a part of BookMooch, but I rarely find books that I'm looking for. Is paperback swap any better?? I have some new books to list and I'm wondering if I should start an account at paperback swap too.

<Both>. It's about 50/50 I find. The nice thing about Paperbackswap is that you get to "stand in line" for your books, so you don't have to be the first one to click the Mooch button like bookmooch.

The nice thing about Bookmooch is you can list books in whatever condition, just leave a condition note. PBS is stricter about "swappable condition". I listed some books today, putting the majority on Bookmooch because of condition and because they lacked ISBN numbers and I find B-mooch's hand-enter system easier than PBS's. The ones in better shape I listed on PBS because I am always wanting credits on PBS.

If you decide to join Paperbackswap, tell 'em I sent you, ROFL.

Oh, and I learned from personal experience... wait a couple days after listing on one site before cross-posting. It's easy to remember to delete from your other inventory if you get a request, but if you list both places initially, you can wind up with requests from both systems for the same book. That can be embarrassing.
