Sorry, no champagne. But my poorly-executed board break is over. Heh heh.

I'm done!!! I've finished the final draft of the first book in my trilogy. (The other 2 are solid rough drafts.)

At least, until dh comes home, reads it, & tells me all the things *he* thinks I need to add. (He always does this! :glare:)

So now I just have to decide where I want my summer house, right? LOL

Seriously, though, anybody who has any experience beyond this point, advice is welcome.

It's a coming-of-age story about a girl in a distopian society of artisans. Young adult lit.

Oh, and thank you! It's my second book to actually finish & then edit a final copy, but it's *much* better than the first one I wrote a few yrs ago.

Congratulations!!!! I'm working a novel as well, I have two in very rough draft form. The revision and editing process is very imtimidating to me, but I will keep your success in mind as I go through that process.

That's really something, Aubrey. I find it very inspiring. I trust you're reaching all the way around yourself in order to pat your own back quite thoroughly. I'd do if for you if I could!
