View Full Version : Dd15 had her first piano recital today

It was her first recital as the teacher:). She had 4 students and they all played very well. They gave her a bouquet of roses and some chocolate. It was a big step towards adulthood for her.

Wow, I guess my children really are going to grow up and move out someday:001_huh:.

That's great! It must have been very exciting for her to be the teacher and receive the flowers from her students. Was she nervous for them before they played?

Yes, she was very nervous for them. Three of them were beginners and had never played before an audience. Amazingly, they all did well - a few finger slips here and there - but they all kept their composure and pulled it off well.

It really is a wonderful thing to watch your children grow up and begin to step out of childhood into adulthood.
