Just to give you an idea, I teach in public High Shcool and I'm really happy when I get 9 labs with lab reports done for a year of science. This doesn't inlcude demostrations or minilabs where they just do someting without a formal report. This year I didn't quite make that many.

For Chemistry, I had my daughter do the labs from the MicroChem Kit. I believe there were 17 labs.

I just watched a blurb on this on the BJU Homesat "extra" programming. He said ideally that lab work is 20% of the class - which works out to 30 or so labs (1 a week), he said that NEVER does/would happen though. He suggests in the 20s if you can for home.
I have no idea how many are scheduled via the Homesat LINC High School level classes because we aren't there yet.
So you guys are telling me that i shouldn't stress if we don't hit 20 when the time comes right? LOL!!!
I remember doing a lab every 1-2 weeks in Biology and almost weekly in Chemistry though in highschool. That was WITH the teacher getting burning paper airplanes thrown at him :glare: (why did my honors classes have all the class clowns in them???)
