I was waiting for some posts but didn't see any new ones yet.
I was a little disappointed - no answers yet.

But happy enough with the second. I didn't expect any answers. I want to know how Hurley ended up "back", if he went with Locke. Who is the "he" that Kate was referring to?
The wait is part of the fun for me.

I'm glad that it's back on especially seeing there are only reruns or reality shows on since the writer's strike. I love watching Lost but I truely am lost.....

But I wish it would have been on for two hours. The time went by too quickly! I didn't realize how much I'd missed it.

Even more confused. LOL But it was good.

So enjoy the 8wks of LOST. That's all we get.

I didn't expect answers. This is Lost, after all. :)
I cried when Charlie showed up to talk to Hurley at the hospital. :(
Who are the Oceanic 6? Or rather, who are the other 3? Jack, Kate, Hurley, and who else?
Lots of other questions, but that's the big one for me.

I cried too much. Everything having to do with Charlie made me cry. Stupid background music...http://easyfreesmileys.com/smileys/free-sad-smileys-406.gif (http://easyfreesmileys.com/)
For the most part, I was satisfied with it. I was glad for the first hour actually because I had forgotten about Hurley and his psychiatric issues, which came into play tonight. I am interested in Locke and I also noticed that Hurley was able to see and hear Jacob. So that made me wonder if he has some sort of "special" gift too, or maybe Locke doesn't have all that he thinks he has.
I'm satisfied enough to wait until next week and not look at spoilers ahead of time.

Oh, me, too! It hurt when I saw Charlie!
I'm wondering if all the Oceanic survivors can see/hear Jacob. It sounded a lot like the voices they heard in past seasons.

sounds like only 6 are rescued from the island, but that there are more left behind that could still be alive?

Ohh!! Im so upset Charley is dead!! I was secretly hoping he wouldn’t be.... I’m so sad!!
The oceanic 6.... what’s up with that? And what is up with the new show Oceanic?? is that still part of Lost or a new thing???
I was a bit freaked out when Hurley was lost, no pun intended, and he was at "Jacobs" house and Locke was their! Scared the bajeebers out of me!!! I think he heard Jacob... not sure what that all means yet... but I know not everyone hears him.
Jacks attitude changed from relaxed when he first began to play ball with Hurley in the mental hosp... and then that stressed look when Hurley questioned Jack if he was worried if he would talk.... talk about what?? Why can’t they talk???
The other interesting twist was, why did Charley come back? I hope he comes back next week and we find out a bit more about that… He was trying to tell Hurley something, but Hurley counted him away….
I’m dying cause this is typical Lost... and I have some questions answered but now have a ton of new... I love this show!!! lol

Of course "Lost" is filmed here on Oahu. Up until last summer we were renting a house right down the street from where they film a lot of the jungle scenes. Everytime we see the production crew set up (hard to miss!) I was sooo tempted to stop by and snoop! :D My kids get a kick out of living so close to where they film. I TiVo the show and save jungle clips for the kids to watch! We also try to figure out the locations in other scenes.
I do find the storyline frustrating... I want at least a few answers!!!!

It's not a new show. They're just showing Oceanic commercials like it's a real airline. I watched that new show Eli Stone just so that I could see it. It was creepy!

I had hoped that if the island could make John walk again it could give Charlie back to us. Did anyone else think the change in Jack between the season finale and last night was really strange? He seemed so in control and a litle cold.

I wonder if the world only thinks 6 people survived and the Oceanic 6 are covering that up? Last night was a future event that happened before last season's future event so I wonder what happens to Jack to make him change his mind about getting back to the island?

See, that's what Dh and I think too, that when the survivors on the island found out that the boat was not sent by Penelope, most of them decided to stay and hide, and only 6 went back, telling the story that they were the only survivors. The voices are apparently calling them back for some reason.
Dh predicts that the other 3 are Jin, Sun (because of the pregnancy), and Claire. He thinks Sawyer is the dead guy. No idea who is waiting for Kate. I don't make predictions about Lost. I'm always wrong.
By the way, knitting and Lost don't mix. I kept dropping stitches and asking Dh 'what happened?' while I was busy fixing them. I finally gave up. House is much more conducive to tv knitting.

He and Claire were both siding with Locke. What about Desmond?

Someone last season wondered if Kate has a child waiting for her at home. I'm wondering it now to because of the scene where Kate told Saywer that maybe they were coming for her as well as she could be pregnant. Saywer said something like "you had better not be" or "I hope not." I can't imagine that Kate was happy to hear those comments.

If Sawyer is the dead guy, that makes 7 that returned (if the other 3 are his guesses). Desmond saw Claire getting on a helicopter, so she definitely goes somewhere. Whether she makes it home or not, we don't know yet.

...if the *6* numbers have anything to do with only 6 people being rescued.

yeah, that wasn't a clear line of thought, was it? Those two predictions were made at different times, though, so he probably wasn't thinking about the fact that they added up to 7. Sawyer predicted as dead guy way back at the end of last season, other 3 survivors predicted last night.
I don't understand why Kate would come back at all. She was wanted for murder.

I think there will only be six who were on the flight. The "Oceanic 6." (I just posted this in another thread, sorry for repetition.) So Juliet, Desmond, Ben, Alex, Danielle, Carl, etc. would not have to count in those numbers.

The end of this episode left me wondering, though: what will happen with John Locke that might make the "future Hurley" apologize to Jack for staying with Locke? Although, "future Jack" regrets leaving the island. So, we were all wondering what's going to happen! Guess we'll find out!

I KNOW! If I had to see those precious eyes underwater one more time...
So what about Jack talking about his father when he's wigging out on the pills as if his father was still alive? And that he saw his father on the island??
I actually felt a little disappointed last night. Read too many spoilers and saw too many previews. No more of that!

I guess the first hour was good for those who needed a refresher. But, it was worth the wait as far as I'm concerned. I, too, wanted to cry whenever Charlie was shown or mentioned. I really liked his character.

I didn't think that was Jacob-wasn't that Jack's dad in the rocking chair?
I can't figure out an easy way to do multiple quotes so I'm just going to speak generally to the thread here.
Did you notice during the commercial along the bottom flashed this site: http://www.find815.com/site/index.php ?
I agree that Sun is probably one of the other six...and Claire-would Aaron also count as one?
What did you all think of the guy who came to see Hurley? Is he a manifestation by the island? Was Hurley's vision of Charlie? Was the guy who came to see Hurley from Hanso or Dharma?
So many things to think about.
eta: If anyone missed the commercial you can see it here: http://www.flyoceanicair.com

That made me think that Jack's dad (Christian) = Jacob(?)
DD pointed out that the "lawyer" who visited Hurley was like the "devil on his shoulder" compared to Charlie - who was like the angel on the other shoulder.
(Which actually made sense when I saw on another message board that his name was Abaddon - which has associations with death/hell/Satan?)
So many more questions -
6 got off the island - what happened to the rest? Dead? Didn't want to leave? Are prevented from leaving?
And who are the other three?
What secret are they "not telling"?
Charlie - dead? Hallucination? Something else? Could that other patient really see him?
But for all the new questions, I really went away with the feeling that we're heading toward a solution. (Someday, eventually.)
I loved it!

Hm, I had the impression that Jacob had been around longer than Jack's dad but I dunno...

According to wiki that it means destruction or realm of the dead. Hm.

I'm guessing they didn't want to leave, were prevented from leaving or some sort of combination.
And who are the other three? I'm guessing one is Claire and one is Sun...I don't know about the other one...
What secret are they "not telling"?
My guess is that they are not telling about the other survivors or any of the stuff about the island.
Charlie - dead? Hallucination? Something else? Could that other patient really see him?
I think the other patient could see him. Maybe he's dead? Maybe the vision was sent to him by the island? eta: maybe he was travelling in time like desmond? I'm not sure.

Did you see on the http://www.flyoceanicair.com website that there is a press release that lists the cities that they are resuming flights to? It's an interesting list including
Los Angeles, CA
Tustin, CA
Ames, IA
Miami, FL
New York, NY
Portland, OR
Knoxville, TN
Seoul, South Korea
Sydney, Australia
I have to wonder the significance of some of those places...
