We use the book with the bound study guides. The "Companion Site" for each book has a HOST of additional information, puzzles, flashcards, quizzes - things you can use to supplement the text. It really helps us to pull things together.

You may be able to answer the million dollar question for me :) ... I've noticed the study guides say "Volume 1" and "Volume 2." Are they specifically for use with the World History Combined Edition (or in any case, easy to use with this edition)? Do Vols. 1 and 2 simply cover different time periods? If so, can you tell me in what century the first volume ends and the second picks up?
