How long does Notgrass EAH take each day?

I'm considering using Notgrass Exploring American History and wondered approximately how long each day's work takes if you use the program as written?

Are you sugg using the program for 3 credits (Bible, Lit, History?)

I was given A Beka and BJU high school texts. Notgrass sounds like a better fit for what I want to do - but I need to know how much time it takes! And I would be int. in knowing how the history portions compare to A BEka History & A Beka Lit.

Hope you get lots of good advice.

We used only the history portion and it took about an hour a day for my son. That is averaged. He is not a fast reader and although the Notgrass material is very easy to read, the historical documents were harder for him. So, for us it averaged about an hour.

We did the history, the literature and the writing. Sometimes especially towards the end of the week the writing took longer. He read the book in about 1/2 hour, then answered the questions. The reading took about an hour and since you're working on the writing spread over a week he spent about 1/2 - 1 hour on it. We did something else for bible
