I have to brag on dd

Today, without any prompting, dd came downstairs with a book. She has been reading it for the past 25 minutes.

Why is that so great?
She is finally pleasure reading.
She didn't turn the TV on first thing. Then stare at it for an hour.

I'm so proud.


Of course as soon as I notice what she is doing she puts the book down and turns on the TV. Baby-steps. It is going to take baby-steps.
