We were hosting a few families tomorrow for a Valentine's Day cookie decorating party, but we are to get 6-8 inches of snow tonight so I am postponing it until next week.
Anyone else's weather calling for snow? Is it ruining any plans?

It's snowing here and I'm unsure how much snow we are expecting. I've heard that South of Chicago will be harder hit then we will be. We don't have any real plans that are being ruined but I'm not taking the boys to swim practice today as I was in an accident coming out of the YMCA just 2 1/2 weeks ago. I'm a little gun shy so to speak. :o

We're getting a lovely snow right now! So far we have about 2-3 inches. The boys schooled until about 1:00 when the flakes started falling fast and furious - gorgeous large flakes! They're out making a fort right now. Note to self: make sure Rubbermaid containers are returned to the house.
No plans are ruined. In fact, I'm so glad they are getting a great snow. It will probably be the one and only this year. Only nagging worry is that my 17 yob (senior) is trying to get home from the university and the roads are pretty slick out here. He'll have to navigate some big hills and curves...(more gray hairs)

at least 6 more inches last night (on top of about 2 feet we had earlier this week) and so we are back to being homebound again. My arms and back are aching from shoveling, but I LOVE it!!

I wish all this rain would turn into something and force me to cancel 4H.
I don't want to be the 4H leader, I don't want to be the 4H leader, I don't want .........you get the point.
It has been a bad week here. Monday mornign I gave the kids cold medicine and thought THAT was what was causing their behavior problems. I don't THINK it stays in their system 4 days, but if it snows and I can't get them to gramma's house tomorrow, I will probably be on the evening news.

We are supposed to get 4-8 inches overnight.
Yes, it likely will affect my plans IF it comes. I am supposed to go pick up my new horse tomorrow afternoon but I won't trailer him on slick roads---and the snow would make turning the trailer around in the yard a LOT of fun--NOT.
Also, my ds and my friend's 16dd are supposed to go up north for a youth camp freeze out. If they don't go, I will have the 16 year old for the weekend as my friend is in Alaska.

If the roads are not good, I will NOT haul him. Not worth the risk to me, him, the trailer, etc. He is only 15 minutes away so we could easily go Saturday when temps are supposed to be above freezing.

I must be really out of it! I just heard that we're supposed to get 6 - 10 inches tonight!! I love a good snowstorm! We're going to go to the Detroit Art Museum tomorrow regardless (and then probably sledding!).

I am suppose to get 15 to 20 cm!!! A housekeeper was suppose to come 'spring' clean my house for 10 hours as a belated Christmas present. :(

We were supposed to get 4-7 inches...but ended up getting less than 1/2 an inch, but got freezing rain and ice. DH's car was covered in ice this morning.
The kids and I are staying home today.

The snow is up to my van bumpers all the way around, so I'm going nowhere unless some snow-removal fairy comes along and digs me out. LOL My dd is with her father today, so my plans are to clean out magazines, do laundry and stay warm. I may shovel the walk for the mail main, though.
Just saw the news: We got 13 inches of snow last night.

Well, if we would have gotten the 5-7in. they predicted, it would have kept my dd from spending the night at her df's who lives 30min. away. But, we didn't. We did get some ice, but dh says main roads are still okay, so she can go. She is happy!:)

Don't start throwing snowballs at me but....
January 2008 goes in the record books as the least snowy in 75 years of NJ history. Can you believe it?
We haven't had a decent snowfall once this year.
One night it snowed and looked so pretty and then when we woke up the next morning it had all been rained away.
So sad.
Well, dh isn't so sad. He's actually glad because it means he hasn't had to shovel at all.
