For Christmas of 2006, we bought a RC helicopter for the boys. After I paid for it ($50!), the cashier told me the blades were fragile, but when (not if-when) they broke I could come back to the store and get free replacements.

I've been trying for a year to get these free replacement blades. The store never had them in stock (I called at least 10 times), and they finally gave me an 800 number to call to get them shipped to me. I called and was told they would be shipped immediately. That was 6 months ago.

I sent them an email yesterday and their response was that they no longer carried that product, but I could buy them from another store for $20! And they gave me a $5 off a $25 coupon code (aren't they nice :eek:).

ARGH! How's that for stellar customer service :mad:?

Grrrr. That would get me steamed too. Have you called the 800 number back to ask why you haven't received it? (Not that I would have the number still after 6 months but you might be better organized than I am!)
