Good morning! I am new to TOG and have been in the "4 week fog" for about 4 weeks now, LOL. No end in sight for me! I am trying to plan my 1st week for DD#1 who is LG. We need to stick to a 4-day week as we have co-op on Mondays. Here is what I am thinking - can someone tell me if this is reasonable / do-able / a wise choice ;) I have no idea what I am doing!
Mon: co-op
Tues: history core/in-depth reading
Wed: lit; geography; worldview
Thurs: history core/in-depth reading
Fri: hands on activities, fine arts

Monday
-Read Core book
-Locate geographical areas on wall map together, discuss geographical terms if needed
-start the week's project
Tuesday
-Finish Core book, if needed
-Relocate geographical areas on wall map w/o help, color on grammar maps if wanted
-Start reading history in-depth book or do coloring page
-Work on week's project
Wednesday
-Read In-Depth (or other chosen book)
-Review geographical areas
-Work on week's project
-Watch supplements if available
Thursday
-Finish In-Depth reading
-Review geographical areas
-Finish week's project
-Complete the week's SAP if the book is done or wait until Fri/Sat when it will be done
The literature read is either independent reading for the week or I squeeze it in where I want during the 4 days. The week's read aloud is bedtime reading. We spend about 30 minutes on this.
I hope this helps Laurie. :)
