View Full Version : Is it just us, or do everyone's kids get nuts when it's rainy?

My kids have been driving me insane today! Whining, fighting, yelling...and the crying! They all got a good night's sleep, ate well, and nobody's running fever. The only thing I can think of is the weather. We are on day 3 of rainy, cold weather.

Just venting, thanks.

That is just the way some people are. My now 19 year old would, and probably still does, get very depressed during the winter because Tennessee winters are gray. She would perk up if it snowed or even iced over, but the constant gray day after gray day would bring her down.

I wish I had been more sensitive to this with her when she was younger.

So, yes, three days of constant rain and ick may be affecting their moods.

I go nuts when it's rainy ... I've spent most of the day muttering & biting my tongue. The children seem fine though!

It rains nine months of the year here. My boys are used to it. It does not stop them from playing outside if they need to. That is what rain boots and slickers are for :D

I say bundle everyone up and go for a walk. Have cocoa or tea to warm up when you get back. It always does wonders for bad attitudes around here.

It's just you. J/K ;) Mine do the same things, and I go nuts, too!
