make sure you take out the two litre bottle of Coke Zero. Because if you think to yourself, in September, "There are months left before temperatures dip below zero. I'll come back later and get this bottle of coke," then you will be sad at the end of January when you poke your head into the trailer and see chunks of strange brown ice on the floor. And you will be sadder still when you notice the open cupboard door and peer in to see that some kind of crazy explosion has occurred and there is frozen coke ice all over the interior of the cupboard. You will spend a long time, in very cold weather, picking up pieces of ice along with a shredded coke bottle. You will spend even longer spraying cleaner and wiping away all evidence of the explosion from the cupboard door, floor, walls, and ceiling.

But in the end, you will be grateful that you found the mess in January and not in March or April or May.

Sarah - thankful for the continued cold temps
