Yes, my husband sounds like your husband's clone. Sometimes I can't even follow his train (wreck) of thought, but lately I've figured out that if I briefly interrupt him and ask, "Um, Honey, what's the segway?" he will inform me UPFRONT that he is about to tell me a long, convoluted saga about X because I just said the word "styrofoam," and it reminded him of the time his high school math teacher's neighbor's basement flooded... You get the picture, right? Sigh.

At least I am learning how to have a conversation with this man -- not understand his mind, oh, no, I can't do THAT, but at least we talk. So, if he doesn't fall asleep on me, before I fall asleep on him, then my needs are met! :D
