Why are you doing Wordly Wise with your highschoolers? nt

but we use Wordly Wise mostly because we've been using it for about 5 years now, and my kids seem to like it! With my older two daughters, once they started 7th grade, I had them do Vocabulary from the Classical Roots in the fall and Wordly Wise in the spring, so they completed two vocabulary books per year.

My oldest is doing WW-11 (in the 10th grade) and just finished VCR-D, so she has one more Wordly Wise book to go (12) and one more VCR book to go (Book E). I may or may not have her do it next year.

I will say this about my oldest: she scores very well on verbal portions of tests, largely because her vocabulary is excellent, but she actually likes reading the dictionary and thesaurus!
