AO and WTM?

Is anyone merging these together? If so, how do you do it? I really like the look of AO, but I love WTM as well. I am already planning on adding their nature study to my curriculum, but I think I want to do more than that. Can I keep using SOTW alongside their history suggestions? Are there any good resources out there for doing this? Any suggestions, help, or examples of how these two philosophies/programs can be blended would be greatly appreciated. I'm just trying to figure out what I can do.
